I really like the reading its just give me a
lot of Idea about writing and about how to write a great paper and how you
should build your points before you start writing your paper. One thing I like
about the reading how they break down every point they talk about witch help me
a lot to understand more about writing I think just form reading the text or
the article its show how important to think about what you write and about what
you speak to be able to be a great writer or speaker. I wrote a lot of papers
before but after I read the text and the article I feel I have more knowledge about writing and how to create my own Idea and I
think its important to know how the essay its going to look like. Because I
feel that’s what was missing for my paper I wrote in the past. From reading the
academic arguments I never wrote any paper arguments between to thing but im
sure some points will be helpful for me when I write an arguments paper. At the
end I really enjoyed all the reading for this week and I feel now I have more
knowledge about writing and I can wait to start write our first paper to able
to put all the points and the knowledge I learned from this reading and im sure
I will learn more by the end of the quarter
Hey Saud! That’s great to hear that the readings have given you some good ideas and tips for your writing! It’s crazy to think that as much as we know and have been taught about writing, there is still so much to learn and so many more skills to be learned! As you said, I also found a lot in the readings to be helpful; specifically, that it helps tremendously to know the conventions of the genres, and how a basic understanding of them will only improve your writing in that style! I also found it really interesting that this kind of writing we typically do in class (academic discourse) has a name!!
